About Kalikas Cakes
my Story
My name is Chelsea and I'm a self-taught baker, mother of 2 awesome kids, wife and full-time worker who loves to bake in my free time. As a child I always loved baking cakes and banana bread for my dad and family birthdays. My real love for baking began with my daughter's 4th birthday cake. She wanted a Princess cake. With the help of Pinterest, I planned out a design. Now it was time to make it. Of course, I had my critics about it but that wasn't what mattered. Seeing my daughters' eyes light up when she saw the cake, I made her was the best feeling there is. Ever since then I have had a blast creating delicious and fun birthday cakes that kids can enjoy.
